Evaluating the expectations of residents regarding the positive impacts of tourism

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio es determinar y evaluar las expectativas de los residentes sobre los impactos del turismo. Las expectativas de los residentes se manejan a través del Modelo Kano y el Proceso de Jerarquía Analítica. No se ha encontrado ningún otro estudio similar que evalúe las expectativas de los residentes sobre los impactos del turismo. Cuando se evalúan los resultados, se concluye que las expectativas de los residentes se reúnen bajo dimensiones económicas. Las expectativas se clasifican según su importancia. Proporciona datos que pueden aportar información a los mecanismos de toma de decisiones de las organizaciones de gestión de destinos. Allanará el camino para planificar políticas y estrategias que gestionen la percepción y la actitud de los residentes para realizar actividades turísticas más exitosas.
